Overton needed the birdie on 17 and fucked it up ...watchin the leader board wouldn't have been a good idea for him, like watchin a tornado comin at ya and no where to hide..Appleby was full marks for the win, obviously but what is going on this year I mean other than Faxon these guys are putting up the lowest scores I can ever remember seeing...must be the equipment

like they went what,11 years between 59's and then had 2 in 3 weeks?
bottom line is they are going to have to roll back the ball and what ever else it takes!
the venues have been trying to take up the slack but how many courses have the land and resources to stretch out to 8,000 yrds?
the u.s.g.a. fucked w/the grooves when what they needed to do was look at the ball,460 cc drivers and hybrids!
if this trend keeps up golf will wind up in the same boat as tennis and bird watchin!!
